The following questions will require you to conduct your own research. Choose any that interest you. Write your answers in your notebook, or create a poster or presentation.

Topic 1

Research how the angle of Earth’s tilt has changed over time and how this has affected Earth’s climate.

Topic 2

Areas that are the same distance from the Equator do not always have the same climate. For example, the south pole is much colder than the north pole. Research factors other than latitude that affect the climate of a region.

Topic 3

Create a poster showing Earth’s orbit around the Sun and the resulting seasons in the northern and Southern Hemispheres.
