Transfer of Energy
- Energy can be transferred between objects.

- The movement of the same type of energy from one location to another is known as energy transfer.

- Energy transfer does not involve a change in the type of energy.

- Only kinetic energy can be transferred between objects.

- When a bowling ball strikes bowling pins, some of the mechanical kinetic energy in the ball is transferred to the pins.

- When hot water is poured into a cup, some heat from the water is transferred to the cup.

- We will look at energy transfer in more detail in a following lesson.
