Excretion

• Living things produce waste which they need to remove (excrete) from their bodies.

• For humans, this is not just when we go to the toilet, but also when we exhale (breathe out) and when we sweat.

• One of the waste products of plants is oxygen, which is very fortunate for humans and all other organisms that require oxygen to survive.

All living things create and remove waste.
