Workbooks: Frequently Asked Questions

All workbooks come as printed hard copies. They come in bundles for each level, including separate workbooks for chemistry, biology, physics and Earth & space. The Year 7 bundle also includes the Introduction to Science workbook.

What’s included in each workbook?

Each workbook contains a comprehensive set of questions ranging from simple recall through to higher order thinking. They include:

Short-answer questions
Extension questions
Topics for further research

Do the workbooks include answers?

Comprehensive answer versions of the workbooks are available online. These can be accessed here or from the home page of each online course.

Answers are only accessible to customers who have purchased workbooks.

How much are the workbooks?

Workbook / online course bundles are $49 per student when bought as class sets, and $115 per student when bought individually.

Can the workbooks be used with the online courses?

The workbooks are specifically designed to be used in conjunction with the online courses.

The individual worksheets within each workbook correspond directly with the online lessons within each course. These online lessons contain most of the information required to complete the workbooks (except for extension questions and topics for further research).

Do I need to buy online course subscriptions separately?

Online course subscriptions are included with the workbooks, so you do not have to buy them separately.

Do the workbooks cover the Australian Curriculum?

All workbooks are aligned with Version 9 of the Australian Curriculum.

Can I preview the workbooks before buying them?

Full online previews of all workbooks are available on the product pages in the online store.
