How much are online course subscriptions?

The prices of online course subscriptions are as follows:

Online Course Subscriptions
Individual Subscription $49
Class Subscription $19 per student.
School Subscription $11 per student.

Online course subscriptions include access to all courses.

If purchasing print workbooks, online course subscriptions for that year level are included, so it is not necessary to purchase online course subscriptions separately.

How long does a subscription last?

Subscriptions give access to online courses for a period of one year.

For individual subscriptions, this period begins on the date of purchase.

For class subscriptions and school subscriptions, this period begins when students are enrolled. This means that class and school subscriptions can be purchased the preceding year.

What’s the difference between individual subscriptions, class subscriptions and school subscriptions?

Individual subscriptions

Individual subscriptions are designed for parents and homeschoolers who wish to purchase subscriptions for one or more children. Each child needs to be subscribed separately, using their own username and password.

Individual subscriptions are available for $49.

Class subscriptions

Class subscriptions are designed for schools who wish to purchase subscriptions for separate class groups.

Class teachers are assigned as group leaders, which enables them to enrol students and monitor their progress.

Class subscriptions are available for $19 per student, with a minimum order of 20 subscriptions.

School subscriptions

School subscriptions are designed for schools who wish to purchase subscriptions for their whole school as a single group, as an economical alternative to class subscriptions.

A single teacher (eg head of department) is assigned as group leader, which enables them to enrol students and monitor their progress.

School subscriptions subscriptions are available for $11 per student, with a minimum order of 100 subscriptions.

Do the online courses keep a record of student progress?

The online courses keep track of all topics, lessons and courses that have been completed, including results for all quiz attempts.

Teachers who have been assigned as group leaders can also view data on student progress.

When a course is completed, students receive a certificate of completion.

Can the online courses be used with the workbooks?

The online courses are specifically designed to be used in conjunction with the workbooks, but can also be used as stand-alone resources.

The online lessons within each course correspond directly with the individual worksheets within each workbook. These lessons contain all the information required to complete the worksheets (except for extension questions and topics for further research).

The quiz questions in the online courses are different to those in the workbooks. The quizzes are simpler as they are designed to be done while a student is encountering information for the first time, whereas the worksheets cover a more in-depth understanding.

Do the online courses cover the Australian Curriculum?

Online course subscriptions purchased before 10 Nov 2025 are aligned with Version 8.4 of the Australian Curriculum.

Online course subscriptions purchased after 10 Nov 2025 are aligned with Version 9 of the Australian Curriculum.

Can I trial the courses before paying for subscriptions?

The first lesson in each course is available as a free sample lesson.

If you are the head of science at your school, you can request a 1 month free trial of all available courses.
